Reference Page

SUMMARY
Learn how to use the Reference page as a library of your office's shared documents and links.

Introduction

The Reference page can be used as a library of your office's shared documents and links. It is a great place to store frequently used forms, disclosures, training materials, and other documents or links your team needs access to on a regular basis. 

Who Can Do This?

All members of your team have full-access to use Reference Docs & Links. Only admin with permission to View all transactions in any Location have the option to set up Reference Docs & Links.

Set Up

Add Docs

Who Can Do This? Only admin with permission to View all transactions in a Location have the option to add Reference Docs.

To add a Reference Doc:

  1. Go to  Reference Docs by clicking [Reference] from the top menu.
  2. Click [Add Docs] at the top of the page.   
  3. Drag docs from your computer to the shaded blue area, or click the shaded blue area to choose docs from your computer. 
  4. Type the Name of the doc(s). 
  5. Choose a Category for the doc(s), or enter a new Category for the doc(s).  
  6. Click [Upload Docs]

Add Links

Who Can Do This? Only admin with permission to View all transactions in a Location have the option to add Reference Links.

To add a Reference Link:

  1. Go to  Reference Docs by clicking [Reference] from the top menu.
  2. Click [Add Link] at the top of the page.  
  3. Enter the Link name, then enter the Link's URL. 
  4. Choose a Category for the link(s), or enter a new Category for the link(s).  
  5. Click [Add Link].

Edit Docs

Who Can Do This? Only admin with permission to View all transactions in a Location have the option to edit Reference Docs.

To update a Reference Doc's Name or Category:

  1. Go to  Reference Docs by clicking [Reference] from the top menu.
  2. Click the [⚙️] to the right of the doc you want to edit, then [Edit Doc]. 
  3. Update the doc's Name or Category 
  4. Click [Save]

Edit Links

Who Can Do This? Only admin with permission to View all transactions in a Location have the option to edit Reference Links.

To update a Reference Link's Name, URL, or Category:

  1. Go to  Reference Docs by clicking [Reference] from the top menu.
  2. Click the [⚙️] to the right of the link you want to edit, then [Edit Link]. 
  3. Update the link's Name, URL, or Category 
  4. Click [Save]

Rearrange Docs & Links

Who Can Do This? Only admin with permission to View all transactions in a Location have the option to rearrange Reference Docs & Links.

To rearrange Reference Docs & Links in a Category:

  1. Go to  Reference Docs by clicking [Reference] from the top menu.
  2. Click and drag the Reference Docs & Links.
  3. Drop them to a new position in their Category 

Delete Docs & Links

Who Can Do This? Only admin with permission to View all transactions in a Location have the option to delete Reference Docs & Links.

To delete Reference Docs & Links:

  1. Go to  Reference Docs by clicking [Reference] from the top menu.
  2. Click the [⚙️] to the right of the doc or link you want to delete, then [Delete]. 
  3. Click [delete] again to confirm the deletion

Bulk Delete Docs & Links

Who Can Do This? Only admin with permission to View all transactions in a Location have the option to delete Reference Docs & Links.

To delete multiple Reference Docs & Links at once:

  1. Go to  Reference Docs by clicking [Reference] from the top menu.
  2. Check the box next to the docs or links you're wanting to delete. 
  3. Click [Delete Docs]
  4. Click [Delete] again to confirm the bulk deletion

Use

Navigate to the Reference Page

To navigate to the Reference page:

  1. Click [Reference] from the top menu. You’ll be shown a list of all your company's Reference Docs & Links.
Expand a category of docs by clicking [+] to the left of it. Whenever you return to the Reference page later, Pipeline will remember your last choice to expand or collapse a category.

Search Docs & Links

Who Can Do This? All members of your team have full-access to search Reference Docs & Links

Search for Reference Docs & Links by their name.

To search for Reference Docs & Links:

  1. Go to  Reference Docs by clicking [Reference] from the top menu.
  2. Click [Search] at the top of the page
  3. Type the Name of the doc or link you're looking for. 
  4. Click [Search Docs]. 

Email Docs & Links

Who Can Do This? All members of your team have full-access to email Reference Docs & Links

Email docs and links from the Reference page.

To email Reference Docs & Links:

  1. Go to  Reference Docs by clicking [Reference] from the top menu.
  2. Click [Email Docs] at the top of the page
  3. Enter the email address of the person you're wanting to send the Reference Doc to.  
  4. Optionally, enter a Subject and Message
  5. Optionally, check the option to "Send me a BCC (blind copy) of the email." 
  6. Check the boxes to the left of your desired docs or links. 
  7. Click [Send Email]
